If you wish to be included in our prayer chain contacts, please call Janice or the office to be added. It only takes two or three minutes to offer a prayer for someone in need, but the benefits are innumerable.
Eucharistic Adoration
Holy Family Church Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament takes place every First Friday in the church immediately following 9:00am Mass.

Adult Bible Study
St. John's Church Open to men or women, this group meets regularly to read and discuss Scripture through coordinated programs. The ministry meets each Sunday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. All are invited.
Women's Bible Study
St. John's Church The Women's Bible Study meets each Tuesday from 9 - 11:00 a.m. in Parish Hall. All ladies are welcome and invited to join.
Food Pantry
Hartford City, Montpelier, Dunkirk & Gas City The parish community of St. Mary's and St. John's help to supply and serve at the local food pantries in Hartford City, Montpelier, Dunkirk, Albany and Redkey. Holy Family parishioners help supply the sharing cupboard in Gas City. These pantries help serve the food needs of the local communities.
Please help contribute non-perishable food and toiletry items that can be dropped off inside the church. Also, look for a monthly envelope in your packets for offering a gift to support the work of the pantries.
New-To-You Thrift Shop
Hartford City A community outreach ministry of St. John's Church for Blackford County and surrounding areas offering drop-off and purchase of gently used clothing and household items at discounted prices.
St. John's Church The Knighs of Columbus is a men's ministry focused on fraternity, service and faith formation. Confirmed men ages 18 and older are welcome to participate. The Knights help serve parishes and the Church through various fundraising activities as well as offer their talents toward helping themselves, their families and others grow closer to Christ.
